PTFE gasket: The full name is polytetrafluoroethylene gasket, also known as PTFE gasket or Teflon gasket. It is made from PTFE rods, tubes and plates through mechanical turning or cutting into flat gaskets, V-shaped gaskets, piston rings, ball valve washers, etc., and possesses excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and-conductivity. The pH value of polytetrafluoroethylene is 0-14 (except for molten alkali metals and fluorine under high temperature and high pressure). It can maintain good mechanical between -100°C and 100°C.
PTFE gaskets are hard, highly compressible, and easily shaped in three-dimensional space, capable of being embedded into fine cracks and damaged areas to repair leaks They are particularly effective in acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, anti-corrosive, and non-metallic facilities, as well as in the connection ranges of large-diameter vessels effectively protecting the installation and connection of brittle materials. Furthermore, they can compensate for and balance errors caused by defects, machining, rigid deformation, and installation misalignment, as well as balance pre-tightening forces, effectively solving leakage problems of various facilities under complex conditions.
Types Pure PTFE gaskets, PTFE sandwich gaskets, expanded PTFE gaskets, modified filled PTFE gaskets. I. Pure PTFE Gaskets These are flat, V-ring gaskets, piston rings, ball valve gaskets, etc., made by mechanical turning or cutting from PTFE rods, tubes, and sheets. They possess excellent properties such as resistance, aging resistance, and non-conductivity. The pH value of PTFE is 0-14 (except for molten alkali metals and fluorine under high temperature and high pressure). It good mechanical strength between -100°C and 100°C. Pressure: 10MPa. Note: At temperatures below -185°, PTFE gaskets will become brittle. Pure PTFE gaskets are clean sealing products that will not contaminate any substances they come into contact with. They can be widely used in industries such as food medicine. These flat gaskets, V-ring gaskets, piston rings, and ball valve gaskets, made by mechanical turning or cutting, possess excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, aging, and non-conductivity.
