1. Introduction
The 300 TPD (Tons Per Day) Rotary Kiln for Coal Ash Treatment is a specialized thermal processing system designed for the large-scale modification, sintering, or decontamination of coal ash (including fly ash and bottom ash from coal-fired power plants).

2. Working Principle
The treatment of coal ash in a rotary kiln is a continuous pyro-processing procedure. Depending on the specific application (e.g., carbon burnout or aggregate sintering), the process generally follows these stages:
Preparation and Feeding: Raw coal ash (often pelletized with binders if used for aggregate production, or fed as dry powder/slurry) is introduced into the kiln via the feeding system at the kiln tail (the elevated end).
Thermal Processing & Reaction: As the inclined kiln cylinder rotates slowly, the coal ash moves downward toward the kiln head. It passes through distinct thermal zones:
Drying & Preheating Zone: Moisture is driven off, and the temperature rises.
Reaction/Sintering Zone: In this high-temperature zone , residual carbon is completely combusted, hazardous organic compounds are destroyed, and the ash particles undergo phase transformation or partial melting (sintering) to form a stable, ceramic structure.
Cooling and Output: The treated ash or sintered aggregates discharge from the kiln head into a cooling unit (such as a rotary or grate cooler). This rapidly lowers the material temperature, recovers heat to preheat the kiln's combustion air, and readies the product for final screening or packaging.
