High Efficiency Slag Rotary Dryer
This high efficiency slag rotary dryer is a new generation of energy-saving and high-performance industrial drying equipment specially developed for the characteristics of high hardness, easy agglomeration and large specific heat capacity of various industrial slags such as blast furnace slag, steel slag and non-ferrous metal smelting slag. It covers models with hourly processing capacity from 5TPH to 80TPH, and can stably reduce the moisture of raw wet slag with 20%-35% initial water content to below 3%, with the system thermal efficiency as high as over 82%, far exceeding the performance level of traditional ordinary slag dryers.
Core High-Efficiency Design Highlights
The equipment adopts a patented three-zone gradient heat exchange structure. The wet slag first enters the anti-sticking pre-dispersion zone, where the high-speed hot air instantly breaks up the slag clumps and evaporates most of the surface moisture, eliminating the viscosity of the slag in advance to avoid adhesion to the drum wall. Then the material is fully lifted and scattered by the layered cascading high-wear-resistance lifting plates in the main high-efficiency heat exchange zone, forming a uniform full-section material curtain that fully contacts with the hot air, making the heat exchange efficiency 2.6 times higher than that of traditional single-cylinder dryers. Finally, the material enters the constant-temperature stabilization zone, where the internal bound moisture is fully evaporated under precise temperature control to ensure the uniform and stable quality of the finished dried slag. The built-in flue gas waste heat recovery system recycles more than 78% of the residual heat from the exhaust gas to preheat the incoming cold air, further reducing the comprehensive energy consumption by more than 45%.
