1. Product Introduction

Our Log Washer Integrated Plant Solution is a complete, turnkey wet-processing system engineered for operations facing heavily contaminated, clay-bound ores and aggregates. Instead of supplying isolated pieces of machinery, this solution offers a fully synchronized, closed-loop processing line. It integrates material feeding, pre-screening, aggressive log-washer scrubbing, downstream classification, fine material recovery, and advanced water recycling into a single cohesive system. Designed utilizing advanced 3D engineering software, the integrated plant is custom-configured to eliminate production bottlenecks, reduce onsite installation times, and maximize product yield.


2. Applications

This integrated solution is ideal for large-scale, high-demand operations where traditional, standalone washing units fall short:

  • Hard-Rock & Alluvial Mining: Pre-treatment of bauxite, iron ore, manganese, copper, and gold-bearing gravels to thoroughly strip away sticky clay matrices before downstream crushing or chemical leaching.

3. Working Principle

Feeding & Pre-Screening: Raw material enters via a heavy-duty hopper. A vibrating grizzly feeder or scalping screen removes oversized boulders to protect the downstream circuit and bypasses fines that do not require aggressive washing.

The Core Scrubbing Circuit: The remaining clay-bound material enters the lower end of the inclined dual-shaft log washer. Massive counter-rotating steel shafts fitted with high-wear alloy paddles violently cut, chop, and tumble the feed. This creates intense material-on-material attrition, forcing the rocks to grind against each other and strip away stubborn clay jackets.

Counter-Current Separation & Rinsing: High-pressure water spray bars rinse the material as it moves. The pitch of the paddles conveys the heavy, thoroughly clean aggregate up the incline to the discharge chute, while dissolved clay and lighter silt float backward and exit via the lower overflow weir.

Downstream Dewatering & Water Management: Clean stones are routed to a sizing/dewatering screen. The muddy overflow slurry is directed to a fine sand recovery unit (hydrocyclones) and a water clarification thickener, reclaiming up to 85%–90% of the wash water for immediate reuse in the plant.
