3. Working Principle
Our factory designs these log washers with an inclined tank (typically angled at 6° to 12°) using advanced counter-current washing and mechanical attrition.
Material Feeding & Wetting: Raw, clay-bound material enters the lower end of the inclined trough (feed intake) where it meets a high-pressure water spray system.
Dual-Shaft Mechanical Scrubbing: Dual solid forged-steel shafts (revolving shaft or log) spin counter-directionally. The overlapping alloy paddles (spiral) repeatedly cut, chop, and tumble the feed. This creates intense material-on-material attrition, forcing the stones to grind against each other and strip away the stickiest clay coatings.
Dual Stream Discharge: The pitch of the rotating paddles continuously conveys the heavy, thoroughly scrubbed ore up the incline, discharging it at the high end (Ore discharge). Simultaneously, the dissolved mud and lighter waste combine into a slurry, flowing in the opposite direction to exit via the low-end weir (Clayey overflow).
