1. Product Overview
Color coated steel coil, abbreviated as PPGI (color coated coil with galvanized substrate) and PPGL (color coated coil with galvalume substrate) in foreign trade, is manufactured based on cold rolled steel strip, hot-dip galvanized steel strip, galvalume steel strip or zinc-aluminum-magnesium steel strip. After degreasing, cleaning and chemical passivation pretreatment, the substrate is roller-coated with multi-layer organic coatings and cured by high-temperature baking to form pre-painted color steel coil.
With dual anti-corrosion performance from metal coating and organic paint film, it integrates the strength of steel, decorative appearance of paint surface and weather & rust resistance. It can be directly bent, corrugated and stamped without on-site painting, featuring convenient construction. It is a mainstream metal decorative sheet widely used in construction, home appliances and advertising industries.

3. Coating Systems (Top Coat Classification, Determining Service Life)
Main coating structures: 2/1 (two coats on front side, one coat on back side), 2/2 (two coats on both front and back sides)Total film thickness of front side: 15~25μm; back side paint film ≥5μm. Epoxy anti-rust primer is adopted to improve paint adhesion.

9. Storage & Processing Precautions
Store in dry and ventilated warehouse, place coils vertically to avoid water accumulation and moisture; long-term outdoor stacking is prohibited;
Avoid low temperature below zero during bending processing; protective film is recommended on inner side when bending thick materials;
Special touch-up paint can be coated on cutting sections to delay section rusting;
Prioritize AZ galvalume, ZM zinc-aluminum-magnesium substrates matched with HDP/PVDF coatings for coastal and chemical corrosive environments.
