1. Product Overview
Alloy steel pipes are seamless pressure-bearing pipes manufactured by smelting iron-carbon base with alloy elements including chromium, molybdenum, vanadium and nickel. Different from ordinary carbon steel pipes, the alloy composition endows them with comprehensive properties such as high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, creep resistance, acid & alkali corrosion resistance and high low-temperature toughness. Widely applied in harsh working conditions including power boilers, petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry, oil & gas transportation, mechanical structures and nuclear power. All pipes are produced by seamless forming process without weld seams, featuring higher safety factor under pressure.
Functions of Core Alloy Elements
Chromium (Cr): Improve high-temperature oxidation resistance, sulfide corrosion resistance and hardenability, and resist high-temperature oxidation peeling.
Molybdenum (Mo): Enhance high-temperature strength and creep resistance, and boost long-term strength under high pressure.
Vanadium (V): Refine steel grain structure, improve toughness and fatigue strength, and reduce high-temperature embrittlement.
Nickel (Ni): Optimize low-temperature impact toughness, suitable for medium transportation under sub-zero temperature.
2. Product Classification
2.1 By Forming Process
Hot Rolled Seamless Alloy Steel PipeSuitable for large outer diameter and heavy wall thickness specifications, outer diameter ranging from 168mm to 1200mm, wall thickness 6mm–100mm. Featuring high production efficiency and strong pressure resistance, mainly used for boiler main steam pipelines and high-pressure reactor pipelines in chemical industry.
Cold Drawn / Cold Rolled Precision Alloy PipeSmall-diameter thin-wall precision pipes with outer diameter 6mm–168mm and wall thickness 0.5mm–6mm. Ultra-tight dimensional tolerance and smooth inner wall, applied to instrument pipelines, hydraulic pipelines and heat exchanger tubes.
Hot Extruded Alloy PipeSpecial process for extra heavy-wall and high-alloy hard-to-deform materials, specially used for high-chromium molybdenum heat-resistant steel such as P91 and P92 for supercritical power station pipelines.

High Temperature & High Pressure Boiler Alloy PipeGrades: 12Cr1MoVG, 15CrMoG, SA335 P22 / P91. Used for water wall, superheater, reheater and main steam pipelines of power plants, operating stably above 500℃ for long term.
Special Alloy Pipe for Petroleum Cracking & Chemical IndustryGrades: 1Cr5Mo, 15CrMo. Suitable for hydrogenation units, cracking furnaces and sulfur-containing corrosive oil & gas medium with excellent high-temperature sulfidation resistance.
Fluid Transportation Alloy PipeCompliant with GB/T8163 standard, applied to high-pressure medium transportation in oil & gas and coal chemical industry, resistant to pressure and HIC hydrogen induced cracking.
Mechanical Structural Alloy PipeGrades: 42CrMo, 20CrMo. Used for construction machinery, equipment supports, hydraulic cylinder barrels and heavy-duty mechanical structural parts.
High Pressure Alloy Pipe for Chemical Fertilizer IndustryCompliant with GB6479 standard, applied to high-pressure equipment pipelines for synthetic ammonia and urea with resistance to hydrogen-nitrogen corrosion.

Delivery Heat Treatment Status (Core Process)
All alloy pipes are delivered after complete heat treatment to eliminate internal rolling stress and stabilize mechanical properties:
15CrMo / 12Cr1MoVG: Normalizing at 930–960℃ + Tempering at 680–720℃
P91 / P92: Normalizing at 1040℃ + High temperature tempering at 760℃
Structural 42CrMo: Quenching & high temperature tempering for high strength and toughness

Pressure Bearing CapacityEvery single pipe undergoes hydrostatic test with 1.5 times standard design pressure, holding pressure without leakage. 100% full-wall ultrasonic inspection for high-pressure pipes to eliminate defects including lamination, crack and inclusion.
Corrosion ResistanceCr-Mo series pipes resist high-temperature oxidation, hydrogen sulfide and weak acid & alkali medium. Low-temperature alloy pipes avoid brittle fracture under extreme cold for oil & gas exploitation in frigid zones.

Hot rolled pipe: Shot blasting to remove oxide scale, coated with black anti-rust paint
Cold drawn precision pipe: Pickled bright surface, both ends equipped with plastic protective caps
Export dedicated: Overall anti-rust oil coating, pipe body printed with steel grade, standard, dimension, heat number and inspection mark
Packing MethodBundled with steel strips, product certificate attached to each bundle. Wooden pallet packaging for export, covered with moisture-proof stretch film, suitable for sea container loading.
