1. Product Overview
Boiler plate, fully known as special steel plate for boilers and pressure vessels, is a special medium and heavy plate used for pressure-bearing special equipment, implemented under the national mandatory standard GB 713-2014, which replaces the old grades 20G and 16MnG. It is specially designed for working conditions with high temperature, high pressure and alternating fatigue.
The steel plate serves under medium-high temperature and high pressure for a long time, bearing pressure, impact, cyclic fatigue and corrosion of water vapor medium. Its core performance requirements include high purity, stable high-temperature strength, excellent low-temperature impact toughness and superior weldability & cold bending formability. It is the core raw material for power station boilers, chemical pressure vessels and heat exchange equipment.

Smelting Process: Electric furnace + secondary refining / vacuum degassed killed steel with strictly controlled harmful impurities of sulfur and phosphorus
Rolling Process: Hot rolling, controlled rolling; Heat treatment: Normalizing, normalizing & tempering, quenching & tempering (available on demand)
Theoretical Density: 7.85g/cm³; Delivered per dimensional tolerance Class B of GB/T709; High-precision tolerance Class C can be customized

Q345R (Former Grade 16MnG, Most Widely Used in Market)
Application Scenarios: Industrial boilers, petroleum storage tanks, reaction kettles, medium-pressure heat exchange equipment; Service temperature range: -20~450℃
Typical Chemical Composition: C≤0.20, Si 0.20~0.55, Mn 1.20~1.60, ultra-low sulfur & phosphorus
Mechanical Properties: Yield Strength ≥345MPa, Tensile Strength 510~640MPa, Impact Energy ≥34J at -20℃, excellent cold bending and welding performance

7. Packaging & Delivery Instructions
Packaging: Export seaworthy package, inner waterproof plastic film & kraft paper, outer thin steel plate edge protection, reinforced wooden pallets at bottom to prevent collision and rust during transportation.
Documents: Original Mill Test Certificate, NDT report, dimensional inspection sheet and customs clearance documents attached for each batch.
Payment Terms: 30% TT advance deposit, 70% TT balance against copy of Bill of Lading.
After-Sales Service: Free replacement or return for unqualified products in dimension, material and NDT standard; technical support for cutting and processing is provided.
