Applications and Scope of Use
The DXJL59500/660(1140) Flameproof and Intrinsically Safe Lithium-ion Battery Power Supply Device for Coal Mine Local Ventilators is designed to address unreliable dual-circuit underground power supply, temporary power outages, and the need for continuous fan operation during equipment maintenance. By combining two utility power sources with battery packs, it forms a triple-power dual-fan or triple-fan system to ensure reliable ventilation operation.
Features
Flameproof and Intrinsically Safe Design: The explosion-proof construction meets coal mine underground requirements. It is equipped with an external methane sensor to automatically cut off non-intrinsically safe outputs when gas limits are exceeded. Epoxy plates are added between battery modules to prevent thermal propagation.
Large-Capacity Energy Storage System: Utilizes 186 series-connected lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery cells. A single group stores 59.5 kWh, with unlimited parallel expansion of master-slave units; one master with one slave reaches 119 kWh.
High-Power Inverter Drive: Equipped with a 160 kW full-power core (natural cooling), with a rated output of 110 kW, capable of driving 2×55 kW and below local ventilators—preventing undersized drive systems.
Wide Voltage Adaptation: Input AC 660/1140 V (wide range 85%–120%), output 0–660/1140 V with variable frequency and voltage transformation, adapting to large voltage fluctuations in underground power grids.
Flexible System Configuration: Supports triple-power dual-fan (replacing standby VFD) or triple-power triple-fan (independent safety fan) configurations. Compatible with both new and existing systems for flexible retrofitting.
Intelligent Communication: Features Modbus RTU (TCP/IP) fiber optic communication, enabling data upload for remote continuous monitoring and safety early warning, supporting unattended operation.
Modular Rapid Expansion: Master and slave units connect in parallel via dedicated quick-plug connectors or gland-type cable entries, with unlimited expansion capacity and convenient wiring.
User-Friendly Interface: The master unit features a 10-inch intrinsically safe touch screen, and the slave unit a 7-inch explosion-proof screen, both paired with mechanical reliable start/stop buttons for intuitive operation.
Multi-Mode Charging Management: Supports independent charging by external chargers, or cyclic charging of multiple expansion battery groups by the master unit. Charging interfaces adopt explosion-proof quick-plug design.
