Application and Scope of Use
Suitable for methane and coal dust explosion-hazardous environments, this device is used in three-phase AC power supply systems with a rated frequency of 50 Hz, rated voltages of 10 kV and 6 kV, rated currents up to 1250 A, and an ungrounded neutral point. It performs control, protection, and measurement of power supply lines and equipment. It meets the requirements for incoming supply, outgoing feeder, bus-tie, and multi-unit combined operations, and can also be used for infrequent direct starting of high-voltage motors.
Functional Features
· This power distribution device employs the VCA-12 outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker, which utilizes solid-sealed pole technology. It offers strong resistance to dust and humid environments, high reliability, excellent insulation strength, and low maintenance costs.
· Withdrawable circuit-breaker truck design: Major electrical components are integrated on the breaker truck (chassis). In the event of a fault, the faulty truck can be quickly withdrawn for repair or replaced with a spare unit, minimizing downtime and production impact.
· Motorized chassis operation: Equipped with an electrically operated chassis to drive the breaker truck in and out, ensuring reliable engagement and separation of the isolating contacts. A manual operating mechanism is also provided for emergency operation.
· Multiple mechanical safety interlocks: Interlocking between circuit breaker closing and truck position; interlocking between the earthing switch and the breaker truck; and interlocking between the front door and the truck position ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
· Comprehensive electrical protection functions: Inverse-time overcurrent protection, instantaneous short-circuit protection, earth-leakage protection, insulation monitoring, and overvoltage/undervoltage protection. Trip values and time delays are continuously adjustable for precise and reliable protection.
· Intelligent monitoring and fault recording: Real-time Chinese-character display of voltage and current; records of the last 25 fault trips with causes and timestamps; cumulative counting of close/open operations; and support for oscillography (fault waveform recording) before and after faults.
· Main-circuit contact temperature detection using wireless temperature sensors; gigabit network switch functionality; time-of-use energy metering; and a built-in camera with remote video monitoring (tele-viewing) capability.
