I. Product Purpose

 

A compact emergency backup power supply specifically designed for underground coal mine applications. When mains power is interrupted, it seamlessly takes over the power supply to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical underground loads, including mine lighting, monitoring, surveillance, communication systems, as well as belt conveyors, pump rooms, electro-hydraulic control systems, and other loads requiring intrinsically safe DC or AC emergency power.

 

II. Product Features

 

- Total energy capacity of 1.536 kWh, compliant with the *Coal Mine Safety Regulations* (2025 Edition). Can be charged directly at dedicated underground charging points without the need for constructing a dedicated charging chamber.

- 8 mine-grade lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery cells with high thermal stability.

- Seamless switchover to emergency power supply within 10 ms after power outage, with no perceptible impact on loads.

- Continuous emergency power supply for ≥4 hours under rated operating conditions.

- Equipped with a Battery Management System (BMS) featuring multiple protections, including overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, overtemperature, short circuit, and balanced charging.

- 7-inch LCD screen for local operation; supports Ethernet/RS485 connectivity for remote monitoring platforms, enabling remote switching of individual output circuits.

- Input supports three voltage levels: AC 660/380/127 V; output supports AC 220/127 V + intrinsically safe DC 12/24 V.

- Automatic low-battery sleep/wake function; door-open power cutoff. Optional methane sensor and aerosol fire suppression device available.
