Applications and Scope
Suitable for use in environments with explosive hazards of methane and coal dust. In three-phase AC power supply systems with rated frequency of 50 Hz, rated voltage of 10 kV or 6 kV, rated current not exceeding 1250 A, and with an unearthed (isolated) neutral, this unit is used for control, protection, and measurement of power supply lines and equipment. It can meet the requirements of various applications including incoming power, outgoing power, interconnection, and parallel operation, and may also be used for infrequent direct starting of high-voltage motors.
Features
Permanent Magnetic Mechanism Vacuum Circuit Breaker: Equipped with a Model VCA-12M permanent magnetic mechanism vacuum circuit breaker, featuring stable and reliable mechanical characteristics, inherent opening time ≤ 50 ms, and a long maintenance-free service life.
Withdrawable Core Trolley: Main components are assembled on the withdrawable trolley, which can be quickly removed for maintenance or replaced with a spare core in case of fault, significantly reducing emergency repair time and minimizing production impact.
Multiple Mechanical Safety Interlocks: Interlock between circuit breaker closing and trolley position; interlock between earthing switch and trolley; interlock between front door and trolley position, ensuring operational and maintenance safety.
Motorized Chassis Operation: Equipped with a motorized chassis (DC 110 V, 60 W) to drive the isolating contacts to open and close; a manual operating mechanism is also retained. Remote control of the motorized chassis is prohibited.
Comprehensive Electrical Protection Functions: Includes inverse-time overcurrent, instantaneous short-circuit, earth fault/leakage, insulation monitoring, and over/under-voltage protection. Tripping values and time delays are continuously adjustable, providing accurate and reliable protection.
Intelligent Monitoring and Fault Recording: Displays voltage, current, and fault causes in Chinese characters; records the last 25 faults with timestamps; accumulates the total number of closing/opening operations; supports fault recording (oscillography) with 37 cycles before and 20 cycles after the fault event.
Video Monitoring of Isolation Gap: A camera provides real-time monitoring of the isolating contact position status, viewable both locally and remotely, ensuring the isolation gap is visible and enhancing operational safety.
