1. Product Introduction
A deep cone thickener is an industrial equipment consisting of an upper cylindrical body and a lower deep cone body The deep cone concentrator accelerates material precipitation through deep filtration theory to achieve solid-liquid separation. Its conical structure ensures sufficient contact between the flocculant and the material, shortening the concentration time. The ratio of equipment height to diameter is greater than that of conventional thickeners, and the pool height is much greater than the pool diameter, forming a vertical conical shape as a whole.
2. Application
Used for high concentration concentration concentration of concentrates or tailings in copper, iron, gold and other beneficiation plants, coal slurry treatment in coal washing plants, dry discharge of tailings, and sewage treatment plants.
3. Working Principle
The working principle of the deep cone thickener is based on gravity settling and the action of flocculants. Its conical structure allows the flocculants to fully contact the material, accelerating the precipitation of the material through deep filtration theory to achieve solid-liquid separation. Its working process is mainly based on gravity settling and mechanical stirring, usually including three stages: coagulation and destabilization, coagulation granulation, and filtration compression. The slurry enters the concentration tank through the feeding device and mixes with the flocculant under stirring. Solid particles settle under the action of gravity, and clear water is discharged from the upper overflow weir. The settled material is further compressed and dehydrated in the deep cone section, forming a high concentration bottom flow and being discharged from the bottom.
