1. Product Introduction
Center Driving Thickener is a continuous solid-liquid separation equipment used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, chemical engineering, and wastewater treatment. It is mainly used for dehydration treatment of wet concentrate in the beneficiation process, for concentration purposes, and can also be used in the chemical industry and coal preparation plants.
2. Application
Used for dehydration treatment of wet concentrate in mineral processing.
3. Working Principle
The working principle of the Center driving thickener mainly includes two parts: mechanical transmission and flocculation sedimentation. Firstly, the deceleration drive mechanism drives the transmission shaft to rotate, thereby driving the scraper arm to rotate around the central axis of the pool. The scraper on the arm pushes the sludge deposited at the bottom of the pool from the outside to the inside towards the center of the pool and the mud pit. Secondly, a certain amount of flocculant is added to the slurry to be concentrated, causing the mineral particles in the slurry to form flocs and accelerate their settling speed. The filter bed formed by flocculation technology can significantly increase the processing capacity, cover a wider sedimentation area, and achieve efficient concentration and sedimentation of sludge.
4. Advantages
①. Adopting a reducer and worm gear transmission, the transmission torque is large, the efficiency is high, and a torque protection device is installed for safe use。
②. When the load is too high, the underwater sludge scraping system can be manually (or electrically) lifted and gradually lowered to scrape off the sludge layer by layer。
③. The mud pit is equipped with a small scraper to stir and scrape the mud thoroughly, without clogging.
④. High efficiency and large processing capacity.
