The dual self-cleaning filter is an important filtration device in the industrial field. It combines the features of a dual filter and self-cleaning function, and can efficiently meet the filtration needs of various industrial scenarios.
In terms of structure, the dual self-cleaning filter is mainly composed of two filter tanks, filter elements, differential pressure controllers, electric drain valves, control systems and other parts. The two filter tanks are arranged in parallel. This design allows the filter to alternately perform filtration and cleaning operations, realizing an uninterrupted filtration process. The filter element is the core component of the filter. Commonly used filter element materials include tubular filter elements such as PP melt-blown, wire-wound, pleated, titanium filter elements, and activated carbon filter elements. Similar to precision filters, different filter elements can be selected according to different filtering media and design processes to meet the required effluent water quality requirements. The differential pressure controller is used to monitor the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, it indicates that the filter element has been blocked by impurities, and then the self-cleaning program will be triggered. The electric drain valve is used to discharge sewage during the cleaning process, and the control system automatically controls the entire filtration and cleaning process.
In terms of working principle, the dual self-cleaning filter is related to the precision filter. When liquid or gas enters the filter, it first passes through the coarse filter screen for preliminary filtration to remove larger particles of impurities, just like the preliminary filtration step of a precision filter. Then, the fluid enters the fine filter screen for fine filtration to remove smaller particles and impurities. During the normal filtration stage, one tank is in the filtration state, and the other tank is in standby. When the filter element of the tank in the filtration state is blocked, causing the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet to reach the set value, the control system will automatically switch to the standby tank for filtration, and at the same time start the self-cleaning program of the blocked tank. During the self-cleaning process, by changing the water flow direction or using backwashing, the impurities on the filter element are washed off and discharged through the electric drain valve.
The dual self-cleaning filter has many significant advantages. It has high filtration efficiency and can efficiently remove tiny particles, suspended solids, microorganisms and other impurities in liquids or gases like a precision filter, providing high-purity output fluid for subsequent processes. Moreover, due to the adoption of the dual structure and self-cleaning function, it can achieve uninterrupted filtration operations, greatly improving production efficiency and reducing downtime caused by filter element replacement. It also has strong adaptability and is suitable for a variety of different filtering media and working conditions. In terms of materials, the tank materials can be divided into fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, stainless steel tanks, etc., and can also be made according to user requirements.
In terms of application scope, the application fields of the dual self-cleaning filter and the precision filter overlap to some extent. It is widely used in industrial fields such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection, and water treatment. In the chemical industry, it can be used for the filtration of various chemical solutions to ensure product quality; in the pharmaceutical industry, it can perform high-precision filtration on liquid medicine to meet the strict requirements of drug production; in the food industry, it can be used for the filtration of liquids such as beverages and wines to ensure food safety and taste; in the environmental protection and water treatment fields, it can pre-treat sewage to remove impurities and create conditions for subsequent in-depth treatment.
To ensure the long-term stable operation of the double self-cleaning filter, daily maintenance is also very important. It is necessary to regularly check the status of the filter element. When the filter element reaches its service life or is damaged, it should be replaced in time. Regularly check the working conditions of the differential pressure controller, electric drain valve, and control system to ensure their normal operation. Also, pay attention to selecting appropriate sealing methods and materials according to the characteristics of the usage environment and filtering medium to prevent leakage and corrosion.
