Working Principle
When the fluid enters the pipe basket filter, it first contacts the filter basket. Due to the interception effect of the filter screen, impurities and solid particles in the fluid are blocked inside the filter basket, while the clean fluid continues to flow in the pipeline through the filter screen. As the filtration process continues, impurities in the filter basket will gradually accumulate. When the accumulation reaches a certain level, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter will increase. At this time, the filter basket needs to be cleaned or replaced to ensure the normal operation of the filter.

Petrochemical Industry
In the processes of petroleum refining and chemical production, the fluid in the pipeline often contains various impurities and solid particles. Disadvantages
As the filtration time extends, the accumulation of impurities in the filter screen basket will increase the filtration resistance. The filter screen basket needs to be cleaned or replaced regularly; otherwise, it will affect the filtration effect and the normal flow of the fluid. Its filtration effect on some tiny particles may be inferior to that of some high-precision filtration equipment.

Filtration accuracy
Select the appropriate filtration accuracy according to actual needs. Different application scenarios have different requirements for filtration accuracy. For example, in some industries with high requirements for product quality, filters with higher filtration accuracy should be selected; while in some occasions with relatively low requirements for impurity content, filters with lower filtration accuracy can be selected.
Material

For fluids with strong corrosiveness, corrosion-resistant materials should be selected; for high-temperature and high-pressure working environments, materials with corresponding high-temperature and high-pressure resistance performance are required.
Flow rate
Select a filter of the appropriate specification according to the flow rate of the pipeline system. The flow rate of the filter should match that of the pipeline system to ensure the normal operation of the filter and avoid poor filtration effects or equipment damage caused by excessive flow.
