I. Overview


1756-EN2TXT is an enhanced industrial Ethernet communication module in Rockwell Automation's ControlLogix series and an upgraded version of 1756-EN2T. On the basis of retaining the core functions of EN2T, it further improves communication performance, security, and scalability, and is specially designed to meet more complex and demanding industrial automation network environments.


The core responsibility of this module is to build a high-speed and reliable communication link between the ControlLogix control system and industrial Ethernet, enabling efficient data interaction with devices such as HMI, SCADA systems, other PLCs, servers, and cloud platforms. With its excellent performance, it is widely used in industrial scenarios with strict requirements on network bandwidth, real-time performance, and security, such as large smart factories, high-end manufacturing production lines, and cross-plant collaborative control.

  1. Communication Protocol: Fully supports the EtherNet/IP protocol, and is compatible with general network protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP.
