German technical background VOK®-AP 515 wax auxiliary
VOK®-AP 515 wax emulsion can be used to improve the scratch resistance of waterborne coating systems and improve the abrasion resistance of waterborne printing inks.
It is particularly suitable for reducing heel scratches on water-based parquet varnishes.
Chemical composition: Aqueous nonionic oxidized polyethylene wax emulsion (HDPE)
Solvent: Water
Dosage: 1-6 % coating
3-14 % printing ink
Typical physical and chemical data: Non-volatile: 35 %
Melting point (wax): 130°C
