Auto Flow VA 420 Insertion Type Flow Meter Industrial Pipeline Flow Measurement Transducer
Product Spotlights
Product Description
The new, cost-effective VA 420 flow meter utilizes the proven thermal mass flow principle. As a result, it measures and displays actual mass flow or standard volume flow without the need for temperature or pressure compensation. The VA 420 is available in both display and non-display versions. With its compact design, the VA 420 can monitor flow and consumption in all compressed air systems—from compressors to small compressed air tools (DN 15 to DN 50). For larger pipe diameters (DN 50 to DN 300), the VA 400 insertion flow meter is also available. In addition to compressed air, it can measure other gases such as N, O, Ar, N, and CO. Installation of the VA 420 flow meter is simple and quick. The removable measuring unit is a major advantage. During calibration, the measuring unit can be quickly and easily removed without having to disassemble the entire measuring section.
Performance Features
Easy installation; measurement units can be freely selected via the keypad on the sensor head
Compressed air counter up to 1,999,999,999 m³
Reset via the keypad
20 mA analog output, pulse output (electrically isolated)
High measurement accuracy is maintained even at very low flow rates (Option for leak detection)
Low pressure drop
Thermal mass flow principle; no need to measure pressure or temperature separately
Gas type can be changed via software (N₂, O₂, CO₂, N₂O, Ar)
