Quasi-static Torsion Testing Machine

The quasi-static torsion testing machine is a special equipment designed for the quasi-static torsion fracture strength test of specimens below 10KNm. This equipment is controlled by an industrial computer, with a variable-frequency motor and a reducer for output, a frequency converter for speed regulation, a sensor for signal transmission, and a speed-changing mechanism for loading to complete the test. During the quasi-static torsion test, when the specimen swings to a certain angular position, the variable-frequency motor, through the reducer and the frequency converter, makes the drive shaft rotate at a set speed, and the loader of the speed-changing mechanism loads at the required speed until the specimen fractures.

Usually, during the quasi-static torsion test , when the specimen swings to a certain angular position, the variable-frequency motor, through the reducer and the frequency converter, makes the drive shaft rotate at a speed of 2.5r/min, and the brake loads and brakes at a speed of 50Nm/r until the specimen is damaged; when the brake is disconnected and the output end of the drive shaft is locked, at this time, the loading torque of the starting motor is very large, causing the drive shaft to fracture and be damaged before it rotates, thus completing the static torsion test.
