Torsional Fatigue Testing Machine

1. Application:

This test bench can conduct dynamic torsional fatigue tests on various shafts and rods. It is suitable for torsional fatigue life tests of components such as automobile drive shafts, constant velocity universal joints, ball cages, automobile half shafts, and automobile drive axle housings.
This test bench can realize symmetric and asymmetric cyclic torsional fatigue tests. During the test, the computer controls the test bench to operate automatically according to the set parameters. The screen displays the torque value, angle value, frequency, amplitude, number of cycles, and loading waveform. When the set number of cycles is reached, the test bench will automatically stop and print the result report. The test bench also has functions such as click overload protection, test torque and rotation angle overload protection and shutdown, alarm for excessive oil temperature and clogged oil filter.
2. Equipment Composition
The torsional fatigue test bench is mainly composed of a host system, a hydraulic system, a servo control system, a high-voltage control system, a computer data processing system, and special fixtures.
● Host:
This machine adopts a bench-type structure. The drive system, fixed fixture, movable support, etc. are all fixed on the test platform. Their installation is guaranteed by the process. Both the drive part and the measurement part (torque sensor, angle sensor) of the test bench are installed in the drive pedestal. The torque applied directly to the test piece by the rotary actuator through the torque sensor is directly measured and output by the torque sensor, while the rotation angle is measured by the photoelectric encoder and outputs pulse signals.
The host bench is equipped with a dynamic and static bidirectional high-precision torque sensor. The rotary servo actuator (loading execution element) is equipped with an electro-hydraulic servo valve for main control. The main actuator has low friction, low damping, and good anti-lateral force, and a high-resolution photoelectric angle sensor is coaxially installed. In this way, the measurement of torque and angle can be realized.
● Hydraulic system:
The hydraulic oil source pump unit is composed of a three-phase asynchronous motor and a gear pump. The system pressure is set through the relief valve. The pressure oil output to the system is filtered by a filter with a filtration accuracy of less than 6μm to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the servo valve. The return oil filter filters the hydraulic oil returning to the oil tank to ensure the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil in the tank.
● Oil tank assembly
The oil tank is made of steel plates by gas shielded welding. The inside of the tank is divided into two areas (oil suction area, oil return area) by a partition, and there is an oil drain port. An oil inlet filter is installed at the oil suction port of the single pump at the lower part. The oil pipe connected to the pump inlet is a rubber hose to prevent vibration. A liquid level sensor is installed on the oil tank cover for low liquid level alarm. When the liquid level exceeds the limit, the pump will automatically stop, and normal and upper limit heights are prompted. At the same time, an oil temperature sensor and an air filter are installed on the upper cover plate.
● Motor pump unit
The pump station motor adopts a three-phase asynchronous motor from Shanghai Shangli, a relief valve from Beijing Huade, and an internal gear pump from Hangzhou Chengjie. The oil pump and the motor form a motor pump unit with a bell housing and an elastic plum coupling. It is connected to the oil suction filter (with a stop valve) of the oil tank through a hose. This arrangement can isolate the vibration of the motor pump unit from the oil tank components, reducing the vibration to the lowest level and resulting in low noise. The motor pump unit is fixed on a base made of welded channel steel through shock-absorbing pads and is equipped with an oil collection tray.

IV. Quality assurance

1. The warranty period is one year after the final acceptance. If there are quality problems with the equipment during the warranty period, the supplier will replace and repair it free of charge. If the quality problems are caused by the purchaser's improper operation, the purchaser shall pay the supplier the cost of maintenance; the supplier shall provide permanent spare parts supply for the equipment.

2. The supplier shall respond within 1 hour after receiving the notice and provide a maintenance solution within 2 hours; solve general faults within 6 hours.

If necessary, the supplier shall arrive at the site within 24 - 48 hours and provide maintenance or replacement of defective goods or components, and the cost shall be borne by the supplier.
