Product Introduction
This 500 tpd rotary dryer for MDF plant wood chips processing is a professional super-large capacity continuous drying equipment tailored for medium density fiberboard production pre-treatment scenarios. It adopts a high-wear-resistance, low-fragmentation and ultra-stable dehydration structure adapted to the characteristics of large raw material demand, strict moisture uniformity and low fiber breakage requirement of wood chips for MDF production, with a daily processing capacity of 500 tons of wet MDF-dedicated wood chips. It can reduce the moisture content of raw materials from 55%~70% to the stable 8%~10% required for subsequent thermal grinding and fiber forming at one time, and the dried wood chips can be directly sent to the next-stage MDF thermal grinding system. It is the core pre-drying equipment to ensure the uniform fiber quality, high finished board strength and no layering of large-scale MDF production lines.

Working Principle
The obliquely installed ultra-heavy-duty multi-cylinder insulation main body is driven by a high-power high-torque transmission system to rotate at a stable low speed. The wet MDF-dedicated wood chips are fed into the inner cylinder, and the block-shaped materials are continuously lifted and scattered by the built-in high-wear-resistance low-fragmentation lifting plates as the cylinder rotates, fully contacting with the clean hot air flow. The free moisture in the wood chips is efficiently and evenly evaporated through the multi-stage gradient temperature control zones, and the dried wood chips that meet the MDF production feeding standards are stably discharged from the discharging end, completing the 500-ton daily continuous drying process.

Core Features
This 500 tpd model has multiple targeted advantages for MDF plant wood chips processing. The low-fragmentation operation design effectively reduces the excessive breakage of wood chips, greatly improves the fiber integrity after thermal grinding, and significantly enhances the internal bonding strength of finished MDF boards. The ultra-high-precision constant-moisture control system ensures that the moisture deviation of finished wood chips is ≤±0.5%, which completely avoids the quality defects of board surface layering and uneven density caused by uneven moisture. The multi-cylinder waste heat recovery system can directly use the waste flue gas waste heat from the MDF hot press, reducing the drying energy consumption per ton of wood chips by more than 35% compared with ordinary wood chip dryers. The 500-ton daily processing capacity perfectly matches the production rhythm of a large-scale MDF production line with an annual output of 200,000 cubic meters.
