1. Product Overview
Color Coated Steel Coil (also named Prepainted Steel Coil, short for PPGI / PPGL) is manufactured with cold rolled steel coil, hot-dip galvanized coil (PPGI) or hot-dip galvalume coil (PPGL) as base substrate. The production process includes surface degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion pretreatment, continuous organic coating spraying and high-temperature baking curingiBaosteel. It combines the mechanical strength of steel substrate and anti-corrosion performance of organic paint coating, featuring bright uniform color, excellent weather resistance, bendable formability and low later maintenance cost. It is the mainstream decorative & anti-rust raw material for construction, home appliances and industrial fabrication.Production Flow: Base coil → Degreasing & Cleaning → Chemical Conversion Treatment → Primer Coating → Top Coating → High Temp Curing → Cooling → Film Lamination (Optional) → Coiling & Export Packaging

Delivery Cycle: Standard spot goods 5–7 days; customized special thickness, PVDF fluorocarbon, special texture & custom color orders 7–15 days.
Loading & Trade Term: 40HC container load capacity 23–29 tons, shipped from Tianjin Port, support FOB Tianjin, CFR & CIF trade clauses.
10. Storage & Operation Precautions
Warehouse must keep dry and ventilated, strictly avoid rainwater, dew and seawater splashing on coil surface to prevent blistering and peeling of coating.
Steel coils must be horizontally stacked with wooden skid support at bottom; vertical stacking is forbidden to avoid coil collapse and deformation.
Remove surface protective film after processing and installation; long-term sunlight exposure will cause film glue residue attached on paint surface.
Avoid sharp tool scratch during cutting and bending; over-small bending radius will lead to coating cracking.
Long-term stock storage (over 3 months) shall be covered with extra waterproof tarpaulin, place in indoor dry warehouse.
PVDF fluorocarbon coated coil shall avoid contact with strong acid, alkali and chemical solvent during storage and usage.
11. Quality Assurance
Each batch of goods is delivered with original Mill Test Certificate (MTC), covering substrate chemical composition, mechanical performance, coating film thickness, salt spray and aging test data. Third-party inspection reports of SGS, BV, CE can be provided to support global export customs clearance. Products comply with ISO 9001 quality management system standard.
