1. Product Overview
Color Coated Steel Coil (short for PPGI/PPGL) uses hot-dip galvanized, galvalume or Zn-Al-Mg coated steel strip as substrate. After degreasing, cleaning and chemical passivation pretreatment, it is continuously roller-coated with organic topcoat and back coat, then baked and cured at high temperature to form pre-painted color steel coil. It owns three-layer protection system: high strength metal substrate, cathodic anti-corrosion zinc layer and weather-resistant organic coating. With rich colors and direct bending & profiling performance, no on-site painting required, it features light weight and long anti-corrosion service life. Widely applied in steel structure workshops, roof & wall panels, home appliance housings, transportation and decoration industries. Compliant with domestic national standards and mainstream European, American & Japanese export industrial standards, available for film lamination, slitting and cut-to-length deep processing.

2. Substrate Classification, Steel Grades & Application Conditions
2.1 Substrate Types
PPGI Hot-dip Galvanized Substrate (DX51D+Z): Zinc coating weight 60–275g/㎡, for indoor spaces, ordinary factories and civil buildings
PPGL Galvalume Substrate (DX51D+AZ, 55% Al-Zn): Excellent weather resistance & high-temperature oxidation resistance, outdoor roof and coastal high-corrosion areas
ZM Zn-Al-Mg Substrate (DX51D+ZM): Superior salt spray resistance, coastal zones, chemical plants and severe corrosive environments
2.2 Main Steel Grades
DX51D+Z/AZ: General forming grade, for regular bending & profiling, factory wall & roof panels
DX52D+Z/AZ: Drawing grade, home appliance shells and small formed components
DX53D+Z/AZ: Deep drawing grade, complex bending and appliance inner liners
TS250GD/TS350GD/TS550GD: High-strength structural grade, long-span roofs, photovoltaic brackets and load-bearing components

Standard Coating Structure: 2-coat 2-bake (2/2)
Front side: Primer 5–8μm + Topcoat 15–25μm; Back side: Back coat 5–10μm. Adhesion grade 0T, no cracking or peeling after 180° bending.
4. Complete Production Process
Coil uncoiling → Degreasing & cleaning → Pure water rinsing → Drying → Chemical passivation conversion treatment → Roller coating primer → High-temperature baking & curing → Roller coating color topcoat → Secondary baking & cooling → Back coat coating & curing → On-line inspection of appearance & coating thickness → Optional surface film lamination → Recoiling → Marking & coding → Bundling with steel edge guards → Waterproof packaging & warehousing

Thickness Range: 0.2mm～1.5mm, common construction gauge 0.3–0.8mm, customized 1.0–1.5mm for high-strength structures
Standard Width: 600mm–1500mm, mainstream widths 800/1000/1250mm, narrow slitting service available

Neutral salt spray & UV aging accelerated test (mandatory for PVDF/HDP high-end grades)
180° bending & T-bend forming test
Substrate spectral composition analysis, tensile & yield mechanical test
Original Mill Test Certificate EN 10204 3.1, factory certificate, SGS third-party inspection report, CE & ISO certification documents
9. Packaging, Marking & Logistics Delivery
Packaging: Metal edge guards installed on inner & outer circles of coils, cross steel strip bundling; export coils wrapped with inner waterproof plastic film and fixed on wooden pallets, optional surface protective film for sea transportation anti-scratch & moisture resistance
Marking: Permanent printing on coil side including substrate type, paint grade, thickness × width, RAL color number, coil number, heat number, weight, execution standard and manufacturer; product qualification label attached to each coil
Delivery: Direct shipment from warehouse to Tianjin Port, suitable for 20GP/40HQ full containers and bulk carriers; delivery cycle 5–7 days, FOB/CIF/CFR trade terms acceptable, full container & LCL export supported
