1. Product Overview

Angle steel, commonly called angle iron, is long section steel with L-shaped cross-section and two perpendicular legs. It is divided into four categories: hot rolled equal angle steel, hot rolled unequal angle steel, hot-dip galvanized angle steel and cold-formed angle steel. Manufactured by high-temperature rolling of low-carbon steel and HSLA steel billets, it features stable cross-section and strong bending resistance. It can be assembled into various load-bearing frames and connecting joints by welding or bolts. Widely applied in indoor steel structures, outdoor anti-corrosion projects, power, photovoltaic, machinery and shipbuilding industries. Compliant with domestic hot rolled section steel standards and mainstream European, American & Japanese export industrial standards, custom processing including fixed-length cutting, punching, bending and full hot-dip galvanizing is available.

Hot Rolled Angle Steel Process

Incoming inspection & flaw detection of square billets → Heating in furnace at 1000~1200℃ → Multi-pass groove rolling to form L-shape → Sizing, straightening & cooling → Cutting to fixed length → Full inspection of appearance & dimension → Marking & coding → Bundling with steel strips & warehousing

Galvanized Angle Steel Process

Degreasing & oil removal of finished angle steel → Hydrochloric acid pickling for oxide scale removal → Water washing & neutralization → Flux dipping & wetting → Hot-dip galvanizing at 460~520℃ → High-pressure air blowing to remove excess zinc → Passivation anti-rust treatment → Inspection & packing

Cold Formed Angle Steel Process

Uncoiling of cold rolled strip → Continuous cold bending forming → Straightening & fixed-length cutting → Shearing & packing
