Flotation Cell With High Recovery Rate
Product Spotlights
1. Product Introduction
The High-Recovery Flotation Cell is a premier, industrial-grade mineral separation system engineered to maximize the extraction of valuable target minerals from processed ores. In modern flotation circuits, capturing fine, ultra-fine, or complex coarse particles determines a plant's ultimate profitability. This advanced flotation cell utilizes optimized hydrodynamic rotor-stator configurations and precision aeration controls to ensure an exceptionally high recovery rate ($90%+$ depending on mineralogy). It is widely used in the processing of copper, gold, zinc, lead, nickel, iron ore, and industrial minerals, delivering an ideal balance between high grade and maximum recovery.
2. Working Principle
The High-Recovery Flotation Cell optimizes mineral-bubble attachment by creating a highly synchronized internal environment:
High-Efficiency Agitation & Aeration: Conditioned slurry (mixed with collectors and frothers) is introduced into the cell. A high-efficiency, low-wear rotor draws the slurry upward and forces it outward through a stationary stator. Simultaneously, controlled low-pressure air is injected down the hollow shaft, where the rotor shears it into a massive population of micro-bubbles.
Particle-Bubble Attachment: The unique hydrodynamic profile ensures an ultra-high collision frequency between the mineral particles and the micro-bubbles. Hydrophobic target minerals firmly attach to the rising bubbles, while hydrophilic gangue (waste) particles remain suspended in the pulp.
Stable Froth Zone & Discharge: The mineral-laden bubbles ascend gently into a calm, highly stable froth zone at the top of the cell. Specialized froth launders and froth crowders rapidly direct this high-grade concentrate out of the cell for collection, while the remaining pulp flows continuously to the next cell via an automated level-control weir.
3. Key Features & Advantages
Unrivaled Recovery Rates: Specially engineered to eliminate "dead zones" within the tank, ensuring $100%$ of the slurry is actively agitated and exposed to bubble collision, significantly reducing valuable mineral loss to the tailings.
Optimized Bubble Size Distribution: The advanced rotor-stator design generates a highly consistent, tight distribution of fine micro-bubbles, which drastically increases the surface area available for mineral attachment.
Reduced Energy Consumption: Features hydrodynamically optimized impellers that maximize air dispersion and solids suspension at much lower rotational speeds, cutting power consumption by 15% to 25% compared to traditional cells.
Precise Air and Level Automation: Equipped with automated air-flow control valves and ultrasonic froth level sensors that integrate seamlessly with plant PLC/SCADA systems to maintain optimal froth depth during feed fluctuations.
Low-Maintenance, Long Service Life: The rotor and stator are cast with thick, high-durability polyurethane or specialized elastomers to provide extreme resistance against severe abrasive wear and chemical corrosion.
