Product Introduction
The High Altitude Mining Thickener is a specialized thickening equipment developed for extreme high-altitude mining environments.
It is designed to operate under harsh conditions such as low atmospheric pressure, low temperatures, severe cold, large day–night temperature variations, strong wind, and arid dust environments. It is widely used in tailings thickening pre-treatment for high-altitude copper, gold, and lead-zinc mining operations.
The system is structurally and process-optimized to improve stability, weather resistance, and continuous operation performance, meeting the requirements of efficient production and environmental compliance in plateau mining regions.
Working Principle
The system adopts an optimized gravity flocculation and sedimentation process designed to overcome reduced settling efficiency caused by low pressure and low temperature at high altitudes.
After entering the thickener, slurry is treated with a precisely controlled flocculation system that accelerates particle aggregation and settling. The concentrated underflow is discharged to downstream dewatering equipment, while clarified overflow water is recovered and reused.
An intelligent control system specifically adapted for high-altitude conditions automatically adjusts operating parameters according to environmental changes, ensuring stable 24/7 operation.
