TIBP defoamer is chemically named triisobutyl phosphate, shortened as TIBP in the whole industry. This TIBP defoamer is a highly versatile organophosphorus defoaming raw material for industrial systems. High-purity TIBP defoamer is colorless transparent oily liquid without suspended solids or sediment, featuring stable physical and chemical properties. TIBP defoamer has fixed density and viscosity with stable batch quality. As a mainstream auxiliary defoaming agent, TIBP defoamer is widely used in concrete admixtures, coatings, textile slurries and industrial water treatment. It is also a special defoaming material matched with PCE polycarboxylate superplasticizer, and most admixture manufacturers keep this TIBP defoamer in stock for compounding finished additives.
Product Overview
TIBP defoamer is a high-efficiency silicon-free phosphate ester defoamer refined from triisobutyl phosphate. This TIBP defoamer is developed for heavy foaming conditions in industrial production to eliminate accumulated foam during stirring, pumping and chemical reaction. Different from ordinary organic defoamers, TIBP defoamer will not fail rapidly under high shear, high temperature and alternating acid-base conditions, and it will not damage the water reduction and slump retention performance when blended with PCE superplasticizer. TIBP defoamer breaks foam rapidly and inhibits new foam for a long time without foam rebound. Whether in admixture synthesis, water-based coating preparation, textile sizing or industrial wastewater treatment, TIBP defoamer works stably with good cost performance, becoming an essential basic raw material for industrial defoaming.

Usage Instructions
Dosage control: The regular dosage of TIBP defoamer is 0.05%–0.3% of total system mass. Fine-tune the dosage when compounding with PCE superplasticizer to avoid delamination caused by excessive addition.
Feeding method: TIBP defoamer can be added directly in stock solution or diluted with matched solvent in advance, suitable for reactor feeding and online continuous filling.
Stirring requirement: Stir for 30 to 60 seconds after adding TIBP defoamer for even dispersion; long-time high-speed stirring is unnecessary for instant defoaming effect.
Pre-sample compatibility test: Conduct small compatibility test with TIBP defoamer before formula adjustment, pH change or matching new types of PCE superplasticizer to avoid mass production faults.
Storage requirement: Seal TIBP defoamer and store in cool ventilated warehouse away from open fire and high heat. Shake gently before use with stable shelf life under sealed storage.
