Basic Information
The full name of this product is NNO Naphthalene High-Efficiency Dispersant, abbreviated as NNO in industrial field, also named Sodium Methylene Dinaphthalene Disulfonate. NNO is a classic anionic dispersing additive widely used in printing, construction and chemical industries. NNO features outstanding high-temperature dispersion stability and suits dispersion demands of dyes, cement and pesticide powders. This product is brown uniform powder NNO with excellent solubility in cold and hot water, pH value ranges from 7.0 to 9.0. Powder NNO is packed in woven bags with moisture-proof inner liner for long-term storage without caking.
Product Overview
This NNO Naphthalene High-Efficiency Dispersant is industrial mature condensate of naphthalene sulfonic acid and formaldehyde. This NNO achieves strong charge adsorption and dispersion effect via polymer condensation structure, and NNO overcomes flocculation weakness of ordinary dispersants under high temperature with remarkable heat resistance. Free of heavy metals and toxic substances, NNO meets environmental standards for textile printing, concrete water reduction, pigment grinding and pesticide suspension. NNO can break dye agglomerates, improve cement fluidity and prevent pigment sedimentation. With high cost performance, NNO is essential bulk raw material for basic dispersion scenarios, and NNO can be customized with different dispersion strength grades for clients.

Cost-effective raw material: Mature mass production process makes NNO much cheaper than polycarboxylate dispersants, with obvious advantage for bulk purchase.
Wide formula compatibility: NNO mixes stably with anionic and nonionic auxiliaries, compatible with direct dyes, vat dyes and cement additive compound systems.
Application Method
Dosage control: For textile printing, standard dosage of NNO is 1%~5% of dye mass; for construction water reduction, NNO dosage is 0.3%~1.5% of cementitious material mass. Overdose will cause excessive foam and must be avoided.
Feeding sequence: Add water and stir first, then put in NNO slowly. Add dyes or cement powder only after full dissolution to get best dispersion result.
Temperature adaptation: Dissolve NNO directly under normal temperature; pre-dissolve NNO in advance for high-temperature dyeing to prevent local caking.
Storage requirement: Seal powder NNO in cool dry warehouse against moisture and rain. Slight caking can be crushed manually without damaging NNO performance.
Pre-trial test: Conduct lab trial with local dyes or cement before mass production of new batch NNO to confirm dispersion effect formally.
