Basic Information
Full name: TIPA Triisopropanolamine, chemical name 1,1',1''-Nitrilotri-2-propanol, CAS No.122-20-3. It is multi-functional alkanolamine additive, appearing as colorless to pale yellow viscous transparent liquid with faint ammonia odor, fully miscible with water and alcohol solvents. Available in 85% industrial grade and 98% high purity grade, moisture content ≤0.5%. Packed in 200L galvanized drums and IBC tanks, it keeps stable without oxidation under cool sealed storage.
Product Overview
TIPA is catalytically synthesized from propylene oxide and ammonia. With special trihydroxyl amine three-dimensional structure, it serves as core grinding aid and strength enhancer for cement, synergistic compound component for concrete admixtures, as well as auxiliary for metalworking fluid, cosmetic pH buffering and coating chelation. In cement milling, it eliminates particle agglomeration to raise mill output and reduce power consumption, greatly improving 28-day late compressive strength. When compounded with polycarboxylate, naphthalene and sodium gluconate, it chelates metal ions to stabilize admixture system, enhance concrete compactness and anti-sulfate corrosion performance, widely used in cement manufacturing, infrastructure concrete, marine anti-corrosion construction and metal anti-rust lubrication.

Application Method
Dosage Control: 0.01%~0.05% of clinker weight for cement grinding; 0.02%~0.1% for concrete admixture compounding, avoid excessive dosage causing abnormal setting.
Feeding Operation: Dosing at cement mill outlet; add in late stirring stage for liquid admixture blending, mix at low speed for full dissolution.
Storage Rule: Seal and store in cool ventilated warehouse away from open fire and strong alkali; viscosity rises slightly under low temperature and recovers after warming up.
