1. Product Overview
This IP66 waterproof rotary isolating switch (56 Series) is a professional safety disconnect device designed for industrial, construction, stage and outdoor electrical control scenarios. It adopts high-strength flame-retardant ABS sealed enclosure with IP66 waterproof and dustproof performance, effectively protecting internal electrical components from rain, dust and corrosive substances.Equipped with padlockable rotary operating handle, it can be locked in OFF position during equipment maintenance to prevent accidental power-on misoperation, greatly improving on-site construction safety. Multiple pole specifications (1P/2P/3P/4P) and rated current options (10A, 32A) are available, supporting single-phase 250V and three-phase 500V power systems. Built with thick pure copper conductive terminals, the switch ensures stable current transmission, widely applied for safety power cut-off of construction machinery, stage lighting equipment, workshop production lines, agricultural irrigation devices and temporary power distribution projects.
2. Core Product Features
(1) IP66 High Grade Waterproof & Dustproof Sealed Enclosure
The whole housing adopts integrated sealing structure with rubber sealing ring, reaching IP66 protection level. It can resist splashing rainwater, dust, mist and debris intrusion, suitable for long-term outdoor open-air, humid and dusty harsh working environments, effectively avoiding short circuit and leakage faults caused by environmental erosion.
(2) Padlockable Safety Rotary Handle
The rotary operating handle reserves a padlock hole, which can be locked in the OFF gear during equipment overhaul and maintenance to avoid accidental closing power supply by irrelevant personnel, completely eliminating electric shock and equipment damage risks caused by misoperation, which is an essential safety guarantee for industrial field operation.
(3) Flame Retardant High Impact ABS Housing
The outer shell is made of high-quality flame-retardant ABS engineering plastic, with excellent flame retardancy, anti-drop impact resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance and anti-aging performance. It will not deform, crack or age after long-term outdoor use, adapting to complex and harsh construction site working conditions.
(4) Thickened Pure Copper Conductive Terminals
Internal conductive terminals are made of high-purity thickened copper with stamping integrated forming process, featuring small contact resistance, good electrical conductivity, stable load current transmission, no abnormal heating under long-term full-load operation, effectively preventing hidden dangers such as terminal burnout and circuit fire.
(5) Complete Specifications for Wide Compatibility
Available in 1P, 2P, 3P, 4P four pole types, with 10A, 32A two mainstream current ratings; support single-phase AC250V and three-phase AC500V power systems, which can meet the safety isolation control requirements of various industrial electrical equipment. Clear ON/OFF text marks and red position indicator arrow make operation intuitive and error-proof.
(6) Easy Wall-mounted Installation & Convenient Wiring
Reserved standard wall fixing holes on the switch base, stable installation after fixing; two cable entry waterproof glands are reserved on the top of the shell, which is convenient for incoming and outgoing line wiring construction, greatly improving the efficiency of on-site electrical installation and wiring.
