1. Product Overview
This 2-in-2-out IP65 outdoor PV combiner box is a core centralized distribution device specially designed for photovoltaic power generation systems, rated at DC600V and maximum branch current 32A. It integrates DC surge protection device (SPD), DC miniature circuit breakers (MCB) and high-conductivity copper busbars, realizing centralized convergence, lightning surge protection, overload and short-circuit safety protection for two groups of solar panel arrays.Adopting high-quality cold-rolled steel cabinet with electrostatic spraying treatment, the enclosure reaches IP65 waterproof, dustproof, anti-rust and anti-salt-spray performance, adapting to long-term outdoor rooftop, mountain and coastal photovoltaic installation environments. Equipped with lockable cabinet door and reserved multiple waterproof cable glands, it ensures standardized wiring and safe maintenance. Widely applied in residential rooftop distributed solar power stations, small commercial photovoltaic power plants, off-grid solar energy storage systems and other new energy projects.
2. Core Product Features
(1) IP65 High-performance Waterproof Steel Enclosure
The cabinet is made of thick cold-rolled steel plate with outdoor anti-corrosion electrostatic spray coating, featuring excellent waterproof, dustproof, rust-proof and salt-spray resistant capability. It can work stably in the temperature range of -25℃~+65℃, adapting to high-temperature, rainy, coastal humid and other harsh outdoor climatic conditions, effectively preventing internal electrical components from being corroded and damp damaged.
(2) 2 In 2 Out Centralized Convergence Design
Two groups of solar photovoltaic strings can be connected to converge into one main circuit output to the solar inverter, greatly simplifying the complicated wiring of scattered solar panels, optimizing on-site construction layout, reducing cable usage and construction cost, and improving the overall stability and maintainability of the photovoltaic system.
(3) Built-in DC SPD Lightning Surge Protection
Equipped with professional DC surge protection device, it can quickly absorb and release instantaneous overvoltage generated by lightning induction, effectively restrain surge current, avoid inverter, battery and other expensive photovoltaic core equipment being broken down by lightning strike, greatly improving the overall lightning protection safety of the solar power station.
(4) Independent DC MCB Overload & Short-circuit Protection
Each PV string is equipped with an independent DC miniature circuit breaker. When overload, short-circuit or leakage fault occurs in a single photovoltaic array, the corresponding MCB will automatically trip for fault isolation. Maintenance personnel can safely cut off the DC circuit for inspection and replacement without shutting down the whole photovoltaic system.
(5) High-efficiency Thickened Copper Busbar Power Convergence
Internal conductive busbar adopts thickened high-purity copper with tin plating treatment, featuring extremely low contact resistance, strong current carrying capacity and excellent oxidation resistance. It ensures low-loss stable transmission of DC photovoltaic power, reduces heat generation during long-time high-current operation and improves power generation efficiency.
(6) Lockable Safety Cabinet & Standardized Wiring Structure
The cabinet is equipped with a lockable door to prevent irrelevant personnel from opening the box by mistake to cause electric shock accidents. Thickened wall-mounted fixing lugs facilitate fast and firm outdoor installation. Multiple waterproof cable glands are reserved for orderly incoming and outgoing wiring to prevent rainwater and dust from invading along the cable gap.
