| 1. Product Introduction |
The Hydraulic Double Roller Crusher System is an advanced, high-performance crushing solution equipped with an intelligent hydraulic control system. Featuring two parallel, horizontally mounted rollers, it utilizes a combination of hydraulic pressure and mechanical compression to fracture materials. It represents a major upgrade over traditional spring-loaded crushers, offering precise control and heavy-duty reliability. This system is widely used in mining, metallurgy, cement, and coal industries for the secondary and fine crushing of medium-to-hard materials like limestone, coal, coke, shale, and industrial slag.
| 2. Working Principle |
Material Feed: Raw material enters the hopper and is distributed evenly across the length of the rollers.
Counter-Rotation & Hydraulic Squeezing: Driven by independent electric motors, the two rollers rotate inward toward each other. The core of the system is the heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders that exert constant, immense pressure on the movable roller, forcing it toward the fixed roller.
Compression Crushing: As material is pulled into the "nip zone" between the rollers, the extreme hydraulic-backed compression forces instantly crush and fracture the particles.
Smart Overload Protection & Discharge: Crushed material exits through the bottom via gravity. If an uncrushable foreign object (such as a piece of steel) enters, the hydraulic system senses the sudden pressure spike and instantly retracts the hydraulic cylinders. This widens the gap to let the object pass safely, prevents structural damage, and automatically returns the roller to its pre-set position.

Precise & Smart Gap Adjustment: Unlike traditional crushers that require manual bolt turning, the discharge gap can be adjusted instantly and precisely via a hydraulic control panel or PLC interface. This allows operators to change the final product size on the fly.

Automated Wear Compensation: As the roller shells naturally experience wear over time, the hydraulic system can automatically adjust and push the rollers closer together to maintain the exact pre-set product size specifications.
Reduced Maintenance Labor: The hydraulic system simplifies routine maintenance. It can open the rollers to their maximum width at the push of a button, providing quick and safe access for inspection or roller shell replacement.
