The Durable Double Roller Crusher for Mining is an industrial-grade, ultra-rugged crushing machine specifically engineered to withstand the harsh, continuous environments of open-pit and underground mining operations. Built with a reinforced chassis and ultra-wear-resistant alloy components, this machine utilizes two parallel, horizontally aligned counter-rotating rollers to process raw extracted ores. It is widely adopted for primary or secondary crushing of medium-hard, abrasive, or sticky mined materials such as coal, iron ore, copper ore, limestone, oil shale, and gold-bearing rock.
| 2. Working Principle |
Heavy-Duty Ore Infeed: Raw, unseparated run-of-mine (ROM) ore is dumped into the large-capacity hopper, distributing evenly across the full face of the rollers.
High-Torque Inward Drawing: Driven by independent, high-power mining motors and heavy-duty gearboxes, the two rollers rotate toward each other. The high-friction surface of the rollers grips the chunky ore, drawing it into the "nip zone."
Relentless Compression Crushing: Once trapped in the gap, the ore is subjected to immense mechanical compression and shearing forces. The rock is forced to fracture along its natural lines of weakness, breaking down efficiently without wasting energy.
Gravity Discharge & Tramp Iron Relief: The crushed ore drops out through the bottom discharge opening via gravity directly onto a conveyor belt. If an uncrushable object common in mining (such as a steel drill bit or excavator tooth) enters the chamber, the heavy-duty hydraulic safety cylinders instantly compress to let the object pass safely, preventing catastrophic drivetrain damage before automatically resetting.
