The Large Capacity Mineral Powder Dryer is a premier, heavy-duty industrial drying system engineered specifically for large-scale mining operations and mineral processing plants. Designed to process massive volumes of high-moisture mineral powders continuously, this equipment efficiently dries materials such as copper concentrate, iron ore powder, bauxite, nickel ore, quartz sand, limestone, and industrial slag. Working Principle
The large-capacity system relies on optimized mass and heat transfer within a massive rotating drum:
Heavy-Duty Feeding: Wet mineral powder is fed into the high end of the inclined rotary drum via a heavy-duty conveyor and a specialized anti-clogging chute.
Dynamic Material Showering: As the massive drum rotates at a controlled speed, advanced, multi-angled lifting flights inside lift the heavy mineral powder and cascade it evenly across the entire cross-section of the drum.
Continuous Flash Drying: A massive volume of co-current or counter-current hot air sweeps through the cascading material. The immense surface area contact leads to instant heat exchange, rapidly vaporizing the water content without overheating the minerals.
Mass Discharge & Ventilation: The dried mineral powder advances to the lower discharge end due to the drum's slope. Because of the high volume of material processed, a heavy-duty multi-cyclone and baghouse dust collection system works continuously to capture fine particles and exhaust clean air.
