This heavy duty rotary dryer machine is a professional industrial drying equipment designed for continuous large-scale drying operations. It is particularly suitable for handling bulk materials with high moisture content, such as sand, ore, coal, chemical powders, and organic fertilizers. The machine features a robust welded steel drum structure, supported by heavy-duty riding rings and roller assemblies, ensuring stable rotation even under full load conditions. With its high thermal efficiency and uniform drying effect, it can effectively reduce material moisture to the desired level, meeting the strict requirements of industrial production.
Working Principle
The working principle of the heavy duty rotary dryer machine is based on a direct heat transfer and continuous tumbling action. The wet material is fed into the slightly inclined, rotating drum from the feed end. As the drum rotates, internal lifting flights lift the material and shower it through a stream of hot gas (introduced co-currently or counter-currently). This maximizes the surface area of material exposed to the hot air, facilitating rapid evaporation of moisture. The material gradually moves toward the discharge end due to gravity and the drum's inclination. The dried product is then discharged, while the moist exhaust gas is expelled through a dust collection system.
