I. Product Description
This module belongs to the ABB S800 I/O series and is compatible with the System 800xA DCS control system. It is a digital input interface expansion module, mainly used to collect on-site switch, limit, relay feedback, equipment start-stop status and other switch signals. After optical isolation, it is transmitted to the controller through the backplane bus to achieve on-site equipment status monitoring, interlock logic collection, etc. It is installed using DIN rail plug-in type, widely used for replacing spare parts of old control systems in process industries such as power, chemical, and metallurgy.
