I. Product Description
The ABB Relion 615 series dedicated protection, measurement and control IED intelligent device for high-voltage motors, with model configuration version J, integrates all protection functions for motors, local remote control, electrical quantity measurement, fault recording, event alarm, and communication transmission. It is suitable for medium and high-voltage asynchronous motor switch cabinets, enabling safe operation monitoring and rapid fault trip isolation for large-power motors such as fans, pumps, crushers, and belt conveyors. It adopts a plug-in modular structure and is widely used in industrial power distribution, power plants, metallurgy, and chemical industries' high-voltage distribution room automation systems. This order model is equipped with IEC61850 + Modbus dual communication protocols and a large-screen LCD operation panel with primary system diagram display, parameter setting, and fault viewing.

Product Performance
Integrated all protection functions for motors: Overload protection, overcurrent protection, start-up timeout, frequent start-up locking, negative sequence imbalance, phase loss, phase sequence error, grounding fault, undervoltage, loss of load, arc fault protection, fault tripping within milliseconds to avoid motor burn risk.
It has one-time system visualization monitoring for switch cabinets, enabling local motor closing and opening control, position status monitoring, online self-check of trip circuits, CT/PT disconnection abnormal alarms.
Supports four-level permission password management to prevent parameter missetting and illegal operations, and can online modify protection settings, withdraw protection plates.
Dual communication protocols are compatible, capable of connecting to substation IEC61850 digital integrated automation system, or connecting to PLC, DCS upper-level monitoring platform through Modbus.
It has fault recording, fault location, event sequence recording functions, capable of accurately locating fault time and fault type, facilitating electrical accident analysis and troubleshooting.
Modular plug-in design, the main body of the device and terminal plug-ins are separated, making spare parts replacement convenient on-site, significantly reducing the downtime for high-voltage motor maintenance.
