I. Product Description
The ABB UNITROL series generator set excitation system is a high-performance excitation main control regulating unit, serving as the core control board of the excitation control cabinet. It collects the generator terminal voltage and current transformer signals in real time, and through the built-in AVR voltage regulation algorithm, calculates and outputs thyristor trigger control instructions to achieve closed-loop stable regulation of the generator terminal voltage, reactive power, and power factor. It integrates a complete set of excitation protection, fault recording, and multi-link communication functions. It supports single-channel or dual-channel redundant configuration and can be used in conjunction with excitation power units, optical fiber communication modules, and I/O signal boards, widely used in various thermal power, hydropower, and self-owned power station excitation systems as spare parts replacement.
