Thermometer Case Oil Tank Thermometer Case, Petroleum Thermometer Sleeve, Petrochemical and Liquid Temperature Measurement
The petroleum thermometer case is an auxiliary tool for measuring the temperature of liquids in storage tanks. It is mainly used in conjunction with glass thermometers (or electronic thermometers). One end of it is connected to the thermometer, and the other end is immersed in the oil. It can protect the thermometer from damage and ensure the accuracy of temperature measurement. It is a commonly used measuring instrument in gas stations, oil depots, and petrochemical enterprises.
The thermometer case complies with the standard of GB/T 8927 "Petroleum and liquid petroleum products - Determination of temperature". It is used for the temperature measurement of petroleum and liquid petroleum products. It is suitable for the determination of the oil temperature in oil tanks such as vertical oil tanks, spherical tanks (tanks with variable vapor space, pressure tanks with pressure locks), non - pressure horizontal cylindrical tanks, non - pressure oil tankers and barges, non - pressure railway tank cars and road tank cars.

Working Principle
Utilizing the good thermal conductivity of metal, immerse the thermometer case to the specified depth (such as upper, middle, lower) in the oil. After thermal equilibrium is reached, read the indication of the thermometer in the case.

Note: It can be used with an anti - static sampling rope (conductive rope) to prevent the generation of electric sparks, which ensures the personal safety of operators and avoids accidents.
