The special consumable package for the EMCEE 840-99-5946 water separation index tester, which is sold by Xiamen Jielian Instrument & Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. as an agent, is a disposable test kit specially designed for the Model 1140 portable jet fuel water separation index tester. It is used for the on - site rapid determination of the water separation characteristics (MSEP) of fuels such as jet fuel and diesel. There are 6 packs in each box, and each pack is vacuum - independently packaged, which can complete 6 ASTM D 7244 standard tests.
1. Packaging and Content
Each pack contains: 6 high - precision plastic syringes, pipette tips, 1 ALUMICEL coalescing filter, 1 turbidity test glass tube, and 1 bottle of distilled water.
There are 6 packs in a box in total, which can be used for 6 single tests.
2. Test Principle (ASTM D 7244)
Inject the oil sample to be tested into the syringe, and form an oil - water emulsion through the built - in stirrer;
The emulsion passes through the ALUMICEL coalescing filter at a specified flow rate, and the free water and emulsified water are coalesced and intercepted;
The filtrate is collected in the turbidity glass tube, and the transmittance is read with a turbidimeter. The result is expressed as an MSEP - A integer from 50 to 100. The higher the value, the better the water separation performance.
3. Product Features
