PFA flasks usually have an appearance of a round belly and a narrow neck. Its narrow mouth is used to prevent the solution from splashing out or reduce the evaporation of the solution, and it can be used with a rubber stopper to connect other utensils, such as rotary evaporators, condensers, separatory funnels, and delivery tubes. When the solution is corrosive and requires a long - time reaction or heating under reflux, a PFA flask is selected as the container.
Main uses
(1) Reactor for liquids and solids or between liquids;
(2) Assembly of gas reaction generators (at room temperature or with heating);
(3) Distillation or fractional distillation of liquids (using a flask with a side - tube, also known as a distillation flask).
