Operation Examples
Series Reaction: Gas purging → Synthesis of Precursor A → Directly introduce into the second bottle for derivatization reaction → Tail gas absorption.
Parallel Experiment: Test different catalysts/raw materials in parallel under the same conditions to improve data comparability.
The PFA Purge Device (Series Reaction Bottles) is specially designed for "Synthesis, purification and inert atmosphere protection reaction of semiconductor precursors", and is suitable for:
1. Precursor synthesis: Such as the preparation of metal organic compounds (MO sources), silane/germane derivatives.
2. Anhydrous and oxygen-free reaction: Purge with inert gases (N₂, Ar) to avoid oxidation or hydrolysis of air-sensitive substances.
3. Multi-step series reaction: Support "series (continuous reaction)" or "parallel (parallel experiment)" of multiple reaction bottles to improve experimental efficiency.
4. Tail gas treatment: Can be connected to an absorption bottle to collect or neutralize corrosive gases (such as HCl, HF) generated by the reaction.
Features of the PFA Purge Device (Series Reaction Bottles):
(1) Ultra-high purity and corrosion resistance: The whole device is made of "high-purity PFA" material, with no metal ions precipitated, avoiding contamination of the precursor. And PFA is resistant to HF, HCl, aqua regia, and organic solvents, suitable for strong acid or strong alkali environments.
(2) Modular design:
a. Standard interface: Equipped with 1/4-inch pipelines and valves (Swagelok or PFA diaphragm valves), with excellent airtightness, supporting quick disassembly and assembly.
b. Multiple bottles can be used in combination: This device can be flexibly connected in series (continuous reaction) or in parallel (parallel control experiment) through "two-way, three-way, four-way joints".
c. Transparent and visible: The reaction status (such as solution color, precipitation formation) can be observed throughout the process.
(3) Precise gas control:
a. Dual-channel gas purging: The intake and exhaust are independently controlled, and can be paired with a flow meter to achieve "dynamic inert gas protection".
b. Vacuum compatible: Supports vacuum pumping - inert gas filling cycle (an external vacuum pump is required).
(4) Safety and expandability
a. Anti-siphon design: A buffer bottle can be optionally equipped to prevent liquid backflow.
b. Good temperature resistance: Can be used in the range of -196℃~+260℃ under normal pressure (such as used with a heating plate or a digestion instrument).
c. Customization supported: Can be equipped with a "sampling device", the sizes of reaction bottles and connecting pipes can be customized, and the shape of the whole device can be designed and processed.

Precautions for use
1. Air tightness inspection: Nitrogen pressure holding test is required before use to prevent leakage.
2. HF operation: It should be carried out in a fume hood and equipped with special protective equipment for HF.
3. Cleaning and maintenance: After the experiment, clean with dilute nitric acid or organic solvents (e.g., DMSO) to avoid residue clogging the pipeline.
