PFA filter columns have become the preferred choice under harsh working conditions due to their characteristics of " Corrosion-resistant - High-purity - Customizable ". They can work individually or in series end to end. They are specifically used in the semiconductor, new materials, new energy, and electronic chemical industries. They use resin to remove impurities such as anions and cations from chemicals, thereby preparing ultra-high-purity chemicals. (Such as purification of organic solvents.)
PFA filter columns can achieve precise separation and purification of chemicals by filling specific functional resins. Their uses are as follows:
1. Preparation of high-purity chemicals
- Deionization purification: Combine cation and anion exchange resins (such as Amberlite IR-120 cation resin + IRA-402 anion resin) to remove trace metal ions (Fe³⁺, Cu²⁺) and halogen impurities (Cl⁻, SO₄²⁻) in the solvent.
- Refining of organic solvents: Conduct deep filtration on PGMEA for photoresist and electronic-grade isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to reduce the particulate matter content.
2. Experimental design and optimization
- Dynamic adsorption experiment of series columns: Study the step-by-step interception efficiency of impurities through multi-column series connection (such as cation column → anion column → macroporous adsorption resin column), and optimize the flow rate and resin packing density.
3. Online monitoring and regeneration
- Integrate online conductivity/TOC detection modules to monitor the purity of the effluent in real time, and develop in-situ resin regeneration processes (such as acid/alkali backwashing) to extend the service life.
