WOODWARD 8407-523 Gas Controller Valve

Working Principle: This valve can receive fuel rate demand signals, and the internally integrated feedback sensors can monitor fuel pressure, temperature, and valve differential pressure. Its microprocessor will convert the gas demand flow signal into a valve position signal based on these gas parameter information, thereby accurately regulating the gas flow to ensure that gas is supplied as required.

Reliable Precision: It has high control precision over the full flow range, and replacing the module does not require recalibration of the engine, which can save maintenance time and costs.
Strong Adaptability: It can compensate for gas pressure and temperature fluctuations, ensuring that the correct gas flow is provided under different working conditions.
Optimized Design: It has better waterproof performance (UL/CSA Type 4), the shaft seal is more resistant to pollution and acidic fuels, it is smaller and lighter in size, and can be flange-connected, making it easy to install and use.

Technical Parameters: Although there are no very detailed public technical parameters for the 8407-523 model, similar gas control valves are usually applicable to various combustible gas media, such as natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, etc. The medium temperature range is roughly around -40℃ to +120℃, the nominal pressure may be around PN16, and the valve body material may include stainless steel, etc. The 8407-523 may also have a similar parameter range; for details, please refer to the product manual.
