Product Description
The CCC certification model for mobile power supplies, lithium-ion batteries and battery packs has been adjusted
According to the notice issued by the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), from May 6, 2025, the implementation procedures for the mandatory product certification (CCC certification) of mobile power supplies (0914) and lithium-ion batteries and battery packs (0915) will undergo important adjustments.
Certification model adjustment
From May 6, 2025, the certification model for 0914 and 0915 products will be uniformly adjusted to: "Type test + initial factory inspection + post-certification supervision"
Type test: Testing through sampling at the production site (the original model is enterprise sample submission).
Initial factory inspection: Ensure that production conditions and quality control meet the requirements.
Post-certification supervision: After certification, regularly check product consistency and factory quality system.
Type test sampling method adjustment
From May 6, 2025, type test samples will be randomly selected from the production site instead of being submitted by the enterprise.
The enterprise must ensure that the production site has samples that meet the requirements, and the quantity must meet the requirements of the type test plan.
Sample consistency requirements: The actual mass-produced products must be consistent with the samples that finally pass the type test, otherwise it may lead to certification failure or certificate revocation.
Enterprise cooperation requirements
Production site preparation: The enterprise needs to plan the production plan in advance to ensure that qualified samples can be provided when the laboratory is sampling.
Record retention: The enterprise must keep the sampling records (including sampling sheets, sampling videos, etc.) in full and archive them for future reference.
Communicate with the laboratory: Actively cooperate with the laboratory sampling work and clarify the sampling process and time nodes.
