Baosteel B20R070 Orientated Silicon Steel, Silicon Steel for Primary Energy-efficient Transformers
I. Products
Baosteel B20R070 orientated silicon steel is the world's first product independently researched and developed by Baosteel, belonging to the ultra-thin specification high magnetic susceptibility orientated silicon steel series, with a thickness of 0.2mm, which represents the world's top level of orientated silicon steel technology. By optimising the magnetic domain structure and rolling process, the product achieves extremely low iron loss (P1.7/50 ≤ 0.70W/kg) and high magnetic susceptibility (B800 ≥ 1.92T) performance, which significantly improves the energy conversion efficiency. Relying on two production bases in Baoshan, Shanghai and Qingshan, Wuhan, Baosteel has an annual production capacity of 800,000 tonnes, which ranks first among global listed steel enterprises.
II. Main uses
1, high energy-efficiency distribution transformer: B20R070 is specially designed for the first-class energy-efficiency transformer, which can significantly reduce no-load loss, and is suitable for smart grid, new energy power station and other scenarios, helping to achieve the ‘dual-carbon’ goal.
2, low noise power equipment: through a special process to control the magnetostrictive effect, the product can reduce the transformer no-load noise by 2-4 dB, suitable for urban substations, hospitals and other noise-sensitive places.
3, Green energy storage and power generation equipment: It has been successfully applied to the core component of the generator of the world's first 300MW compressed air energy storage power plant, meeting the stringent requirements for board shape, coating and performance.
III. Storage and maintenance
To ensure stable performance and long service life of B20R070, the following storage specifications should be strictly observed:
1, Environmental control:
Humidity: the relative humidity of the storage environment should be ≤60%, to avoid humidity triggering coating peeling or rusting; long-term storage is recommended to use vacuum packaging or anti-rust oil protection.
Temperature: the appropriate temperature is 10°C-30°C, to avoid high temperatures leading to magnetic performance degradation or coating aging.
2, physical protection:
Steel coils need to be placed horizontally on special pallets, stacking height of no more than 3 layers, to prevent deformation; cut edge materials need to avoid mechanical collision, burr height should be ≤ 0.02mm.
Use nylon sling when transporting, prohibit wire rope from directly touching the surface of steel coil to prevent scratching the insulation layer.
3, Pre-processing treatment:
Processing equipment needs to be clean and free of impurities, and debris should be cleaned up in time after stamping to prevent oxidation;
The internal stress needs to be controlled when shearing and slitting to avoid the deviation of shearing edge more than 1mm.
IV. Payment modalities
Only support T/T payment, the implementation of the FOB standard, the first to determine the variety and grade of silicon steel, sign the contract prepayment of 40%, in the delivery period the goods ready to send to the designated domestic port (such as Tianjin Port), after settlement of the final payment, the goods loaded on the ship.
