I. Products
Baosteel B27R085 is a milestone product of domestic high-end oriented silicon steel, which passed the technical assessment of China Machinery Industry Federation in 2011, and its comprehensive performance reaches the international advanced level. Its electromagnetic performance (iron loss P1.7/50 is lower than 0.85W/kg), mechanical strength, coating adhesion and plate shape tolerance are all in line with the stringent international standards, breaking the long-term dependence on imports of high-grade oriented silicon steel. Through more than ten years of technical research, Baosteel has realised the stable production of this product on a large scale, and become the first enterprise with the ability to supply more than 20 grades of oriented silicon steel in bulk in China.
II. Main uses
B27R085 is designed for high-end transformers, especially suitable for ultra-high voltage, DC transmission and other core scenarios:
Converter transformer: used in DC transmission projects (such as the Three Gorges Underground Power Station DC transmission project), to solve the problem of imported materials ‘necking’, to support the security of the national power grid.
Extra-high-voltage transformer: as the core material of the first 1000kV direct-out extra-high-voltage transformer in China, it achieves a single transport weight of ≤90 tonnes, significantly reduces the electromagnetic loss, and is suitable for complex terrains such as high mountains and valleys.
New energy equipment: adapted to energy-efficient transformers (such as GB20052-2020 energy-efficiency class 1 standard), helping optimise the power transmission system of wind power and photovoltaic power stations.
III. Storage and maintenance
1,Moisture and rust prevention: The storage environment should be kept dry (relative humidity ≤ 60%), avoiding contact with acid, alkali and other corrosive substances. If stored for a long time, it is recommended to use anti-rust oil or vacuum packaging to protect the surface coating.
2,Physical protection: Avoid mechanical collision or heavy pressure to prevent deformation of steel coils or coating damage. Use special pallets when stacking and control the stacking height to reduce the bottom load.3,33333333332123123123546974124
3,Temperature control: Ideal storage temperature is between 10°C and 30°C to avoid high temperature environment that may cause coating aging or magnetic property degradation.
4,Pre-processing: If cutting or stamping is required, make sure the equipment is clean to avoid scratching the surface with impurities; clean up debris in time after processing to prevent oxidation or degradation of insulating properties.
IV. Payment modalities
Only support T/T payment, the implementation of the FOB standard, the first to determine the variety and grade of silicon steel, sign the contract prepayment of 40%, in the delivery period the goods ready to send to the designated domestic port (such as Tianjin Port), after settlement of the final payment, the goods loaded on the ship.
V. Summary
B27R085 represents a technological breakthrough in China's high-end silicon steel, combining high permeability, low iron loss, and localised cost advantages, and has been applied to more than a hundred transformers above 500kV.
