**WESTCAR Hydraulic Couplings**
**Introduction:**
WESTCAR hydraulic couplings are designed to be installed between the electric motor (drive component) and the machinery (driven component). They are connected to the output shaft of the electric motor and the input shaft of the gearbox through couplings.
**Features:**
1. Improves the starting performance of the electric motor and enhances its ability to start with automatic speed adjustment.
2. Provides protection for both the electric motor (drive component) and the machinery (driven component), preventing overloads and reducing vibrations.
3. Transmits torque accurately according to preset values and allows for direct starting, eliminating the need for third-party starters or variable resistors for slip-ring motors.
**Advantages:**

2. Interchangeable accessories based on the basic equipment.
3. The dimensions of the shaft pulley system are highly tailored to the needs of the drive component.
4. All hydraulic couplings with frame numbers 40P and above are equipped with ball bearings under the pulleys to withstand higher than standard radial loads.
5. Hydraulic couplings for horizontal installations are equipped with ROTOFLEXI flexible couplings, allowing users to move and replace flexible components directly from the coupling without disturbing the electric motor or driven equipment.
