German technical background VOK®-N stabilizer
VOK®-N is an anti-gelling and viscosity stabilizer for solventborne industrial and architectural coatings that prevents thickening caused by the use of alkaline pigments in acidic binders and prevents viscosity rise and gelling in the storage of white baking and air-dry paints. And the gelled paint can be restored to use. VOK®-N can be added later.
Chemical composition: solution of alkyl ammonium alkyl oxide salt and ketoxime of acid phosphate
Solvent: isobutanol/xylene/water 10/6/1
Dosage of additives: 1-2 % of total formulation
After 3-7 %, the thickened paint is added
